I would just put a heat sink style under the car. I used one of the old Russell ones that they sold years ago and had it mounted under the floor. Always wondered if it was worth a darn and finally put a temp gauge on it. Thing worked better than I thought.
I think they are marginal for street car use though.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Mine is mounted like A, but on the other side of the car. My gauge rarely goes over 175, even making back to back runs.

Bracket car good-e-nuf.... I actually went back to a cross flow radiator with a trans heat exchanger built into it. Even in the heat and hot lapping it’s managed the trans temp well. Trans brakes build heat like RIGHT NOW! this car has a brake, however I doubt I'll use it at 1st. Looks good. did you run braided lines all the way to the trans?

Yes... output Trans line to radiator cooler, outlet from there to the “log” heat exchanger, and back to trans return port. Thanks.
