Just my opinion but they look out of place and stuck on as an afterthought. If it didn't come with them I'd leave them off. I can see that. They are definitely an acquired taste. I just wanted something that would be a touch different but still be an original looking part. I did contact Scott and he can make them but doesn't very often because of low demand. His price is pretty good, especially considering the great quality he does with all his work.

Cool thread for sure. I can say in all my years in the parts business scouring over 200 wrecking yards from 1984-1992 in the SW US (TX, OK, NM, AZ, CA, NV), we never saw these on any Barracuda - EVER.

For those of you that have not looked at the links I provided and read a ton of information I will post my list here. Most of these cars are still in existence. A few of them are questionable as to whether they are gone now. I have one more to add to this list and working on two others to add to the list. I will get them added soon. In the mean time,
If anyone has any information on an M46 I would love to investigate it. Doesn't have to be for sale. Several of the M46's I have found have been cloned to cuda's and no longer retain their scoops.

Here are a few pictures I have.
Would love to get better pictures of that red one and the green one that sits with that red one.

I wonder how long they were around the Chrysler parts warehouses? Around summer 1976, I started buying extra stuff for my 1970 Cuda. I remember buying a pair of front spoilers for the AAR - they were under $4.00/each. Bought a Cuda rear sway bar, which I eventually installed on my AAR around the mid-90's. I'm really curious how many service copies of these were in the parts system, & how much they cost, & when they were finally depleted?
Also, anybody know the Chrysler part #'s on these?

Here is a picture of the new reproduced scoops in a mold.
I was wrong, this is an original scoop in the first molding. Better molds now. My mistake. Old photo and I was corrected.

Here is the picture. Took me a few minutes to find it.
Can't see the scoop very good but it definitely has a black out bottom and a double reflective tape line running above the blackout.
