Dont have that answer but I know the complete head and turbo from a Eclipse/Talon will bolt on some of them. With mods 400 HP is doable.

Has anyone ever put a small block or gen III Hemi in one for the street? Got one from my deceased brother in law and just thinking out loud No personal experience but the ones with an auto trans are supposed to be the easiest because they used a 904. Swing in a small block with trans, line up the trans mount and let the front land where it lands. Fab mounts to suit or motor plate. Kevin

I had one with a 2.0 liter with a 2.6 conquest turbo top end. My friend and I put a Buick GN drivetrain in another one also. The V6 truck ended up with the radiator mounted in the bed. The factory rear axle held up to low 11second E.T.s

Buddy of mine is looking for a D-50 to do a Gen 3 swap in. Apparently it's a fairly common swap.
There's one that races around here with an RB in it. Not sure how much he cut out to get it there.

I had one of those and daydreamed about putting a small block in. I took some measurements and IIRC it would fit but there might be some reconfiguration needed of course. Mine was a 2wd. A local guy had one of the prior gen trucks with a 440 in it, but the firewall had been cut. Not mine

I put a 340 in a 79-86 body style back in the late 80's...I've never messed with the newer body style...
Mine was a 79 D-50 Sport...I'd do it again if I can find the right truck...

Can you walk me through how or what you did to install the 340? Any weird things like oil pan, fan or radiator, exhaust route
