I have a Mopar fan blade that has been re-painted and would like to know the differences between a 2863215 blade and a 2863216 blade?
Also when did Mopar stop stamping into the metal blades and start paint stamping the part number?
Thanks! MJ

The paint stamp numbers & metal stamp numbers were in use at the same time. Possibly just different suppliers.

215 fans have an 18" diameter & the 216 is 18.5" diameter.

plus different notch in the blades on each...215 in front, 216 in rear.
Pictures of ink stamp and metal stamp on a 215

Thanks for the replies and information!
I have attached a couple of pictures of my fan.
The cut outs on the blades make me think it's a 215
and it's also 18" in diameter!
Any ideas on what fan clutch it has?
MJ

I don’t know this to be true and I don’t want to muddy the water but someone told me years ago they also have a different pitch to the blades? Maybe someone with both can have a look and see?

Not 100% sure but I think the 215 has a 2.25" pitch and the 216 has 2.5"

Looks like a 2806070 fan clutch

chargerbr549,
By the height of the stem 1 1/4" and hub diameter of 7 1/4" I believe the clutch is a 2806070 also.
Thanks! MJ

Take a q tip and rub off any grease on the seal where the hub meets the clutch...red is 070, blue is a 112...the 112 is a little taller than a 070 when measured...sits a little deeper into the shroud.

shakerjoe,
I did the q-tip test and there is a red seal again confirming it's a 070.
Thanks! MJ
