Question for the Moparts experts... are the small block trans cooler lines the same between 727 and 904?

They're not the same but they're close enough to make them work. Based on some assembly instructions (for what their worth) appear to be different bend wise coming out of the trans.

IIRC, when I changed my Challenger from a 904 to a 727 I used the same lines but had to bend the angles different. The fittings in the trans cases aren't exactly in the same places. (This was only 40 years ago or so)

(This was only 40 years ago or so) That's what I hit. The fittings are off enough that you have to fight with the line to get it connected but close enough that it'll still work when you're on your side under the car wanting to get it back together.

The distance between the cooler fittings on the case is about the same (8.5" ±) but the 904 fitting is closer to the pan rail so the line has less arch to it.
