DGS OP mopar Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 636 Graz, Austria	Why are all rear main seal retainers offset to one side? I found this on original retainers as well as on aftermarket ones... Compare the distance of the outer edge to the bolt holes left and right. On the right side there is slightly more material: clearly visible:

Cab_Burge I Win C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 43,127 Bend,OR USA	Manufacturers specs. and the company that makes them tolerances can vary some If the threads in the stock retainer are still good that is the one I would use on a stock block Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
