Building a 392 combo using a 5.7 block , 05 model year i believe.(03 to 08 this i know just not specific year) using eagle heads, and a ritter short 4150 intake ,70 dart using cal tracks and mono leafs, 727 trans,4.56 gear, will purchase new ultimate converter, or send current back for changes they recommend. I would like to purchase a cam before I take heads and block to machinist, thanks

If you want your heads ported contact Ray(sixpackgut) and he can order a custom cam (Comp) for your combo at the same cost of a shelf cam. https://www.facebook.com/BornAgainHotRods/ Or contact gremlinsteve if you just need a cam.

I would like to purchase a cam before I take heads and block to machinist, thanks My guy finished up a 392(5.7 based) last week , set of Pre Eagle heads 2.125/1.62 valves , 10.5 to one, Prefix single plane intake , HUG SER3438MHLN-10 .589/.594 234/238@50 pulled 55Xhp and 56Xtq at 3600lbs that should get you where you want to be. with good Eagles I would think it would be in the 57X+hp range. 1963 Thunderbolt 496FE 10.80 (still a work in progress) 1968 Mustang slow a$$ 428 FE 1971 Boss 351 Mustang 11.20@115mph 1993 Lightning 10.61 @ 129mph 408Ci A3 headed NA 1996 Viper GTS 2001 Lightning 8.99 @ 155MPH 5.4 Mod Motor 2009 Ram 9.65@144MPH 463CI G3 NA 2010 Challenger 9.91 @ 139MPH 408CI G3ci NA 2019 F150 (local dealer's Lightning package) ..11.90s
