I have a starter with a cast number : 2095219. There is a 9 above the cast number. Is it correct for a post Jan. 1969 drive train?

This is for an auto not 4 speed correct? The direct drive starter for a 4 speed was casting number 2642443 for 66 and 2642928 67 to 69. Can't help you on the auto version.

The snout & the rear steel section will both have date codes.

You can clean it up to look for them & then post closeups.
