Hi, we have an 833 we bought for use on a 71 RR we're building.
Have decided to go auto.

Friend we bought it from has no idea on it's origin.

Is their a resource on line or here to determine what it is from, year, etc.?

Stenciled #s are: 4F 245825, PP8334852
Cast case #s : C99129H
Tail case #s: C99539E
23 Spline

We want to sell it and the flywheel, new clutch and bell housing to offset some of the cost of a rebuilt 727.

Thanks in advance, Joe

are the stamped numbers clear? got a pic? confused

4F 245825 would've been a Newark, DE assembled '74 Dart or Valiant

4852 is Saturday, November 9, 1974 (too LATE for 1974 model year)

It is from a 1970 Challenger from the LA plant.

New number to me, but if the owner ever registers the car I can let you know.

Thanks, I would really appreciate the help bow up
I was going to put a A body main shaft (out put shaft) with all the gears on it, and A body tail shaft housing on this case, not now realcrazy
I don't have a 1970 and later B&E body tail shaft housing so it is time to look for one wrench
I do have a good SO CA desert 1966 to 1969 B body tail shaft housing to trade if anyone is interested in trading work help

Should be C99369? They can be hard to read sometimes. With that retainer, it's 4.805" diameter. Would have come out of a 74 B body with a 400 BB.

Ha! that's funny, reading it upside-down, the numbers worked, though...LOL

Thanks, Dan
