Well, after a few months of getting the car ready I'm about ready to pull the trigger on heads for my 5.9 Magnum and I really want to run the new trick flows
,anybody got any real world experience with them yet? Where did you get them? Did they have to be tweaked? My short block is assembled, it's just a bracket build, ARP bolts on stock rods and crank with zero deck KB's, no cam or heads bought yet, 4:10 gear, 727 trans in the below 67 Dart, glass hood and front bumper, one seat interior, trying to see if I can get it in the mid 6's. First small block bracket car I've ever built.

there just was a thread on trick flows (I didn't pay much attention to the jist of it cuz they are above my pay grade) but you might be able to glean some info from it.

This may be helpful reading. If may be worth contacting B3RE to discuss.

I think it's been done and they used Harland Sharp shaft mounted rockers that oil through the push rod. The story is on FABO.

What info are you looking for? Only thing you have to do is run a rocker arm setup that allows oil up thru the adjuster like the new HS rockers designed for this head, or PRW stainless rockers like we use, or TD rockers (best if using a solid roller cam).

If I am not mistaken, the early magnum blocks still had the oil holes drilled in the deck. So u could still but the LA style head on.
