Sitting at my garage door is a newer Dana. A note on it says ,"late model Dana 60 from a late 90's early 2000 Dodge Ram and you fool around with hot rods so you can have it". It has a blue plastic filler cap on top of the center section. Very clean. Looks like very low miles. Is this a candidate for a cut down and modify for my next project? I'll get some pics later.

Wow sounds like the Karma wheel rolled your way up Might have the large tubes but you can work around that.

That blue plastic cap is where the speed sensor/ABS sensor went, but your description works too. Jim

look at the housing where the tube meets the bearing, see if it looks like the bearing race spun and ate up the housing. Pretty common problem on the truck Danas.
