Will MSD Ignition Coil (Part # MSD 8207) work with MSD Pro-Billet Distributor (Part # MSD 8546)?

Thanks guys!

Its not the distributor that is of issue, its the ignition box. Pick a coil and see if it will work with your ignition system.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

What happens if you use a coil that isn't compatible with your ignition? I have been running a 6AL with a HVCII coil for years. Seems to be ok

HVC II Blaster #8253 is a preferred coil for a 6. The Pro Power 8261 is not.

I used those two MSD parts with both a 7AL, 7AL3 and a Digital 7 box FWIW.

That's what I used on mine for a couple years with zero issues. In fact, in the for sale section now. Switching to Sniper system.

MSD says to use HVC coil if you are running E-85 not a blaster. Birdtracker

I didn't have good luck with the blaster SS, had to go back to the good old Blaster 2
