My 72 grille is pretty bad (see pics). Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!

I agree with Stumpy, not worth fixing. Finding a nice original would be cheaper then trying to fix this one.

Have you ever tried to find nice original grilles for these 70's trucks? It is dang near impossible, and when you do find a nice one they want near $1k or more for them.

They are expensive but if you keep up the search on craigslist and ebay a decent driver quality used one can be found for $300-ish

I already found my '79 quad headlight grille. I paid $300 and it's pretty darn nice. If I come across I will though. I'm always looking at truck parts.

Since you have all the pieces, I would scuff the back.
Then take some thin gauge sheet metal or aluminum and use it as a backing plate to epoxy the 2 together.
Won’t make the front any better, but from the looks of it you’ll be able to fit it back together and it may just look like a hairline crack from the front.

We've done that before with limited luck. I'm not going for show quality, so I don't mind the cracks, what concerns me most is the broken mounting foot. Any suggestions on reattaching that? Thanks!

Maybe a strip of aluminum and some pop rivets.

The mounting foot isn't all that necessary. From 77-80, they eliminated those 4 tabs. Pop rivet the one piece back on and leave the missing one.

Alumiweld , practice on coke cans until you can close a hole without burning through. Then you are good to go on your grille. Paul

The only grille in there is $2k. My truck isn't even worth that... That's why I'm planning on fixing this one.

Does anyone still make aftermarket grills for those trucks? Tube grills were popular years ago.

As already mentioned, some guys can weld those grills.
