I will buy the Milodon 21255 cover.
Since this engine has the internal 1/2 (hemi) pickup, I will plug the suction port.
In the future, if I ever build a higher RPM engine and want a single line external line pickup, it can be used.

And the reason it would not go back any further, was the lower frame mounts for the midplate were hitting the JW Mopar bellhousing on the PG transmission. I called the seller, and he cut notches in his JW bellhousing. I decided to just rotate the midplate frame mounts.

I finished cutting off the old midplate mounts. Made new ones, and finished welding and painting them this morning.
Drilled new holes in midplate to match.

The Milodon oil pump cover worked great.
Plenty of clearance now!

Looks nice and clean. You shouldn't have any issues with clearance for the lines or fittings. I'd use #12 lines but if you prefer #10 lines they should work okay as long as the runs aren't too long. Good luck, looks like you'll be racing pretty soon.

What pan did you use? Mine had the same issue.

I didn't build or design this engine. It was new and ready to go at the right price so I bought it. It has a center sump, 8qt steel pan with 1/2 internal oil pump pickup (hemi style).

Joe,
What low mount alternator mount did you use?
I have a super mini Powermaster (93mm?), and your location looks good to me.

Looks like he might have the DMI alternator bracket on there.

Yep it's the DMI bracket. I'd get the brace with it if you get one it stiffens it up a bunch.
