I have a R5 cam I need to id. I think it's an arrington cam.

I'm pretty sure the grind is ARE-23XX.

There are also these numbers on the cam

39A

R (underlined)

It's an Arrington Comp Cam..... Call Either Arrington or Comp. Comp might not give out the info about it...

Talk to Mike at Arrington,he grinds the cams they don't outsource.

They used to run Comp's in their Truck motors before they got their own grinder. Usually Comp will not give out lobe specs on a proprietary Nascar cam like that.... Just send it to someone with a cam doctor if you can't get them to give up the specs.
