parts book can usually give an idea where it goes, though in this case, not so much. This might help http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php?topic=19205.0

I have never seen one for ac controls. they generally tap vacuum off the christmas tree (if you have power brakes) off the back of the intake manifold.
can you post a pic of this canister you have? This ^^^^^

There is a small vacuum can under the battery tray on my 1970 Charger parts car. I think it has something to do with the A/C.
Yes, the 70 B body uses a small canister under the battery tray mounted to the front/inside radiator yoke...I'll look at the factory prints to see if I have anything on 68-9 B body AC set ups? Mike

https://www.classicindustries.com/produc...N8aAq8wEALw_wcBapparently so. the repro ones don't look the same. I would have guessed for some of the low vacuum cars but I thought those couldn't be had with a/c anyway. but I guess even the heat only cars needed vacuum for the switch.
