After putting stuff together, having someone beat on it for years, and being able to look at it again afterwards, I stick with what I've been using for years. Amsoil 75w-90 Severe Gear.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

I use the Lightweight in my Dana 60 with a spool It had that in the rear end when I bought it when it had a blown B1 motor that pushed that car to 7.60 at 184+ MPH with a set of Pro 5.86 gears Those gears look excellent when I removed them so I stuck with that lube for the 4.56 Dana gears I put back in it

7.60 at 184+ MPH with a set of Pro 5.86 gears Yikes Couldn't help but see that. Even with a big tire and tight converter, that's zingin' it.

I'm thinking it was above 8000 RPM in the 1/4 mile I was told that it had 5.38 in the rear when I bought the car and when my poor little 505 C.I. 400 block bracket motor had it tongue out at the 1000 Ft timers I found out why after pulling the cover to inspect the gears It likes the 4:56 with both the 15x33x15 Goodyears and the smaller 14x32x15 M/T stiffwall

All we EVER use is Torco. Torco is a GL-6*, and is sold by Mark Williams. It is supposed to be really good for high shock applications. I know guys using Torco in really high abuse applications and swear by it. *The GL-6 rating is inactive and has been for 25 years. But there are gear oils still marketed as meeting the spec, even though it can't be tested for it.

Due to someone's concern that gear lube has a limited shelf life, I inherited a ridiculous amount (about 20 cases) of Mobil 1 in 80w90 and 75w140.
So, for the foreseeable future, Zippy Performance uses Mobil 1 exclusively. Strictly for it's superior lubrication 😂
Shelf life: I figure if it can sit inside an axle for 20 years and still be good, especially with no miles...then it can sit on a shelf for a little longer than 4 years as well.
