Is 2468339 a HEMI casting number?
I have 2468330 listed for the 426.

Thanks!

Looks like a mistake. 9 for 0. 2468330 is correct.

In many cases, the points of the digits in the casting number, formed during the casting process, will run together making an undecipherable blob.

If you can get a picture of the top of the block it will be easy to see if it has the added casting to bolt on the heads.

OK, I received a couple photos.

2468330-M is the casting
7H18 is another casting

Does the -M and/or 7H18 have any significance?

-M (millennium I guess) is what they put on the "new" blocks (and heads) when they re-released them in the 90's.

I don't know for sure but I guess that's some kind of date.

Mine is 6K29 All the blocks are M.

The "-M" was put after the casting number so they would not be mistaken for original Hemi castings. I remember reading that at the time. No mention of it meaning anything.

I'm thinking 6K29 is November 29, 1996.

Hard to know top pad is stamped HW1194. I'm guessing the HW means Hemi Wedge motor mounts? No idea on the numbers.
