No, the complete cluster has to come out for everything you are asking.

Is it possible to remove the tachometer or speedometer without pulling the whole gauge cluster?
Also, what would be the process for just removing the front plate?
Thank you for your help!
Mark It's a LOT easier just to pull the whole cluster. Unless you like working on your back and not being able to see the screws holding it in, and working them out with a screw driver or a nut driver. It's one thing loosening screws and having them fall on your face; it's another trying to put them back in and holding the gauge in place at the same time. If you're young, and a contortionist, go for it! My human pretzel days are over..
