Is it possible to remove the tachometer or speedometer without pulling the whole gauge cluster?

Also, what would be the process for just removing the front plate?

Thank you for your help!

Mark

No, the complete cluster has to come out for everything you are asking.

Tach comes out the backside and best I remember can be removed without pulling entire cluster assy. Just not easily for old farts.

Speedo comes out the front and can only be removed via pulling and disassemble cluster assy

iagree recently had the tach in-n-out on a Superbird with the cluster still installed (if OPTIONED, A/C ducts may make this impossible)

It's a LOT easier just to pull the whole cluster. Unless you like working on your back and not being able to see the screws holding it in, and working them out with a screw driver or a nut driver. It's one thing loosening screws and having them fall on your face; it's another trying to put them back in and holding the gauge in place at the same time. If you're young, and a contortionist, go for it! My human pretzel days are over..

Thank you all for the advise!

I do not have a heat box or ac box, so that might make it easier...I guess I can always pull the drivers bucket seat to make it easier.
