Are you trying to make a slow truck? 3.9's get about the same MPG as a 5.2. Also, it's getting to the point even stock replacement parts for the 3.9 are drying up.

Are you trying to make a slow truck? 3.9's get about the same MPG as a 5.2. Also, it's getting to the point even stock replacement parts for the 3.9 are drying up. He wants to go the other way, 3.9L to 5.9L.

i swapped the V6 5 speed from in my '88 to the 318 auto from my '87. The drivers side motor mount had to be fabbed, and one of the trans cross member bolt hole didn't line up. And since I was going from a manual to automatic, I swapped the steering columns, which required the dash harness as well since the '88 had the dimmer and wipers on the turn signal switch.
