New power steering pressure hose can't stop the leak, new hose and fitting in gearbox looks fine, I took it off and put a little grease on it no help, also puddles at back of box at steering shaft could the hose leak be from something internal or should I just try another hose$$?I am around these AN 37 degree fittings at work everyday never had one that leaked like this so is it time to have the box rebuilt I work with hydraulics but never been into a automotive steering box two steps backwards jezz

new box and new hose?
why do you think it is anything but the hose?

also I had one leak under the fitting. That part comes out and has a copper washer under it.

Well it wasn't the hose it was the fitting on the steering box, needed a magnifying glass but has a small ding in it creating a flat spot I was mad so was looking for answers on here outa desperation wrenching 7 days a week sometimes burns me out OK it is a super tight box in a 60 thou mile Daytona so I just need to fix the rear housing leak now not wanting to replace orig box thanks for the reply
