from all that I have read concerning lokar and bouchillion cable/kickdown problems just me I would highly suggest locating some OE stuff. I would think alot of of that stuff spans alot of years.

Hit the junkyard and get the kick down cable setup off a 94-2001 durango, dakota or ram pickup. Then I use this throttle bracket http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/15154/10002/-1 and make a bracket to hold the kick down cable. Works good, this is the setup bouchillion uses. Way better then the Loker setup. I will post a pick when a get a chance.
The only Carbs I care about are under the hood!

from all that I have read concerning lokar and bouchillion cable/kickdown problems just me I would highly suggest locating some OE stuff. I would think alot of of that stuff spans alot of years. i have removed 12 or so lokar setups and replaced them all with factory pieces. the reasons this was done ranged from cheap, easily bent with use, bracketry to incorrect transmission adjustment ratio problems. at times, the factory replacement pieces required modifications because of intake manifold choices, but this inconvenience was way outweighed by correct transmission operation, as well as factory correct appearance, over the lokar stuff. i believe the main reason for the lokar problems lie in the design of the components, as these appear to be a GM design, modified [poorly, in my opinion] to fit the mopar application without thought to the proper carb to trans lever ratio. with that said, there are some that say the lokar setup works. that may be fine for them, but just because something "works", doesn't mean it "works correctly". i don't like the lokar setup, and strongly recommend staying away from it, using instead, a factory linkage [modified if necessary] or a manual valve body [as has been mentioned].

I agree with everything posted so far. I tried modifying the 2 BBL setup to work on a 4 with no luck on my 318. Tried a 340 4BBL set up and could not get it to work either and settled for the Bouchillon. Of course none of this applies to big block but it does give you a basis for thinking about this. Lokar seems to go on no car and work right. I was not aware of the Durango mod. I could have taken that off mine when I donated it. Good luck, Craig
