Not spoiled I'm just trying to use all the
area I have and use it efficiently.. if I was
spoiled I'd have another 1200 sqft but they
wouldnt let me.. until now but its too late
to start over... I'm helping my buddy right
now to add on to his shop.. he cant stand that
my shop is bigger than his so we are adding on
to his.. adding another 960sqft

I spent about 3 months on the garage web site
just getting ideas of garage layouts and the
lighting ideas... I stayed pretty much to my
original layout of how I was gonna put in my
equipment but I changed the lighting big time
and I'm still adding to that part.. never have
enough light

I'd sure like to see more pics...of that Coronet!

As close as I am, Finleyville, I need to stop out and talk to you. I need some inspiration to get my 68 fastback out to Keystone.

I made several mistakes. One thing I need is a "dirty area" for grinding, welding, drilling. I designed in a very large amount of counter top space, but it's not enough. When you tear something down there is no space left to put anything. As others said, don't scrimp on lighting, insulation or electrical. But still I'm very happy and glad I built it. It's very comfortable. Probably the only downside is now you have more room, so you drag more stuff home, and now there is no chance you can ever move.

I like the Lista brand cabinets for storage. They are a little expensive but they are bulletproof. Best cabinet on the market that I know of and made in the USA.
