If its real close to the exit of the exhaust it may not read until you get some RPM and exhaust flow, otherwise it will read a little bit of fresh air at low RPM. I have the same issue with my innovate LC2 when my exhaust dumps are open.

I had the same issue but once I adjusted the idle mixture screws it came right in. Did you try adjusted the idle mixture screws?

Look for upstream air leaks.

Does this help?

It says the O2 sensors are temperature sensitive.

Yes I did read that I'm going to let it run tomorrow and check the temp to see where it's at

Don't worry about what it reads at idle. Set the idle where the engine likes it and don't even look at the O2. It doesn't matter. The preferred idle mix on different engine combos is all over the place. Besides, there are several other factors that could affect the readings and confuse the issue.

Does your engine have much lope? If so, then the more lope at idle you have, the more that will confuse your O2 readings at idle.

I agree, I use a LM-2 on my drag car and I din't pay much attention to the idle readings

Try it in a daily driver with a stock cam and I bet it will work.

The exhaust system has to be totally sealed up before you can trust anything the O2 sensor tells you. Any tiny air leak and it will read lean. You probably have some header leaks that you don't know about or you have a pan evac system that is sucking air into the exhaust. If you have a big cam then that will usually read lean and if you have a bit of misfire at idle it will read lean.

Check your header gaskets. I use ultra copper on my stuff. I would make sure it's not getting air up stream
