Ihave removed all the screws that I see in my 1966 Plymouth Belvedere to fix my speedometer but, I still can't get the dash apart. Is there a trick to this. Does anyone know how it comes apart. Thanks Al

I am only familar with the coronet, but my guess is it is close.
There are a number of other things that hold that in place. As mentioned above, the speedo cable, the plug for all the wires, the amp meter, but that has enough give that it doesn't really stop you. The radio knobs and nuts holding it to the dash, as I am pretty sure that is one piece in 66, but don't remember for sure. As well as the slider on the heater control.
You don't have to drop the steering column, but it does give you a bit more room, and you don't scuff it as much getting it in and out. It is also a bit deep. You will have to tilt it a bit and have it rub against the frame a little to get it out.
