I'd love to have power windows in my '72 Duster, I kinda gave up on it last time I was trying to find a kit that actually works good.

I bought a universal kit from a member here awhile back for my Scamp. It's a chassis car but still has all the factory glass and the window regulators still work. I haven't installed them yet but I plan too, maybe this summer.

One more thing electrical to let you down at the most inopportune time on a race car True but, sitting in a closed car in a full monkey suit, on steaming black top in the middle of a sweltering July day in Central Florida is just brutal. It's the reason I opted to keep the door windows functional. That only gets me one window though unless I have a helper. Us low buck guys don't have the 27 crew members swarming around the car like you high rollers have.

Item Description Do you feel so much boring of rolling down the windows for every time in order to get some fresh air? Gee, I wonder where they're made ?!?!?

I added one to my Dakota's passenger window, it's on a toggle switch on the dash... Track faces east and there is ALWAYS a breeze from the South, I love it, it can get hot here in Albuquerque, NM.

I look to the added comfort you can have if you go with them and a small fan blowing right at you. Even just the fan is a huge help, but the windows will drop the in car temp a large amount! Less stress on the driver is well worth the risk,IMHO. I would bet that lower stress would add a round win or two from time to time. On top of that it makes the whole day more enjoyable, and you may choose to race on a hot day when otherwise the heat might keep you home. Considering Montes' concern over electrical troubles, relays would help that situation in case of problems?

If you have a set of power window mechanisms from a C body you can make it work in a B body if you change the arms. I did this in my 68 GTX and this may work in a A body. This bolts up like it's stock as they used the same basic setup and only changed the arms between them between models.
