The simple answer on why you have two different length pushrods is ANGLE. The intakes are offset and lean over more to get around the intake port. You lean it over, it has to be longer to cover same distance.
Many motors have 3 different lengths depending on port layout. One exhaust length, a left intake and a right intake length
ALL pushrods flex, nearly impossible to stop it. We have 9/16 intakes and 5/8 exhaust in our motor......they flex. Of course we have 500lbs on the seat and a cam with 1.200 lift

Not this time around. I was told summit racing pushrods are made by trend. Is that true. Never had Mantons and wanted to give them a try. I like my Mantons, very nice pieces,,heard a lot of good about Trend also.
Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

I don't think anybody makes bad ones. All made out of the same thing I really hope you don't believe that If you where nearer I would ask you to come over and look at some of the pushrods I have had fail I've bent them, broke them, burned them up and had them wear out The good ones last a lot longer than the not so good ones, especially in racing
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

The material is less important that the fit & finish + quality control. Heat treat can be done right, wrong, or not at all, and it's impossible to tell visually. Not a place to save money. Why? because the difference between great and IDK isn't that big, and that's one less thing you ever have to worry about. Valve train problem? It's not the pushrods. Some look really rough out of the box, makes you doubt that anyone at the plant gives a $*@#?}. Examine the ends - if you see radial rings (instead of a smooth glossy surface), those are tiny hacksaw blades waiting to eat your rocker arm. Examine the tubes where the ends insert - any sign of cracks, fretting, wrinkles, stretching, cut not exactly the same place all around? Danger.
