Happy New Year!!!
So I guess I got an odd ball case, 1 69 Plymouth B body with 7.25 rear end 10x1.75 brake drums with 4.5" bolt pattern.
Anyone know how to get a new set of drums? the ones I have are old and crusty and won't last much longer.
I read somewhere jeep drums could be used with some sparky persuation but after a few hours on the google still can't find the post..
Anyone have a solution?
Thanks Plaz

kinda WAG ing but what about some SBP drums (I bought new Centric ones last year, overseas items but were cheap) & redrill em to BBP? & precision open up the registers or just meatball open em up & use lug centric lug nuts. for the pattern make a 4.5" circle (takes a bit of work cuz the register is open) so harder to locate the center dot location & make a pinpoint mark anywhere appropriate on the drum on that circle then make another pinpoint mark on the circle on a straight tangent line 2.645" away then (3) more then drill the five of em out on your drill press. with care on the dia of those 5 holes you might be able to locate the drum that way & use hub centric wheels/lug nuts.

That won't work, there isn't anywhere near enough offset in the center of an SBP drum to re-drill. I'm really not sure why you're running a 7 1/4. Might be time to either 1, install 10x2.5 brakes or 2, swap to an 8 1/4 or 8 3/4 axle.

Doc diff has a complete 10x2 1/2" rear drum assembly, backing plate and all, for less than those two drums. Unfortunately, he is out of stock right now.
