Looking at building a twin turbo small block in the future, will be using a 48* R3 block but need to decide on what heads to run. I like my indy 360-1 cnc raised port heads and they are 6 bolt but Eddie keeps telling me to dump them.
So I was thinking of going W9 heads or the new Victor heads. I have a real good line on some 48* 6 bolt W9 heads with tall deck intake for a really good price. I was originally looking at the victor heads but I think they are 4 bolt only and think the 6 bolt head would hold the boost better.
2000 Dakota R/T, 408 magnum, 727, Indy heads 1000cfm 4150 carb, 93 octane fuel. motor; 10.258 @ 132.78 200 shot; 9.262 @ 144.69 racemagnum

Why wouldn't your Indy's work boosted? They aren't known for the best reliability but I had a crack in number four once, since I had it fixed and sealed I haven't had any more issues with them.

The cylinder head doesn't mean much on a boosted motor. I made around 700hp with a .500" cam with only 250cfm of head.
How much are you looking to make? I'd guess a 360-1 would support 1500hp pretty easy. looking for the 1500-2000 range, the cylinder heads matter over 1000hp trust me.

I dont know how much the W-9 would take pressure wise.. they are a light head.. basically its a cross between the W-7 and the W-8 and lightened up to make a W-9.. if you could get a set of W-8s they would be the BEST out there.. would the W-9 work.. sure EDIT what size turbos are you looking at to make 2000hp and how much pressure.. I assume this will be a air to water inner cooled

There was a Duster on Drag Week with a boosted Indy headed small block. It was going faster everyday, I think he ended the week in the 8.70s? B3 Engines or something like that was on the back window.
