Looking for help I'm determining the proper order of taking the glass, vent frame and entire guts out of a door for restoration, then to put it all back together

69 road runner coupe

Can anyone give a play by play?

Thanks
Ed B

Great picture! Thanks, I'm doing my doors right now, and this picture already helped!

Oh
When I was doing my RR I kept going out and looking inside the door to see how things went together then I got the idea.
Cut the outside away so I can see stuff easier plus the door skin was junk anyways from rust and dents.
I cut it away and it made it so much easier to assemble my doors.
I did the quarter window area also as a cut away to help the reinstallation. I am glad I have a parts satellite to cut up for items and such.
Someone needed help so I posted this photo and I am glad it continues to help people out.
David

It is definitely helpful, I saved it to my reference picture files, do you have a pic of the cut away quarter showing the rear side window tracks?

I pull the regulator out, rear guide and the latch, etc... then remove the vent window and door glass together. You need to remove the cat whiskers etc 1st also... I reassembly the same way.

Thanks David, those are perfect. They would be very helpful to anyone trying to reassemble one of these cars. (and so many are taken apart when found)
