I store the car in an airtight bag in a semi heated garage (never below 40 deg.) Full tank of gas, just wondering what everyone else is doing?

Thank you! up

I use it, tho I cant say I have ever had an issue with gas deteriorating but then again my stuff never sits for months on end. On the other, just wondering, is it sealed completely airtight?

I've used K-100 fuel treatment with great results...Both for fuel system cleaning and long term storage. They make formulas for both gasoline and diesel.

Forgot to ask...
Which car bag are you using?
How do you like it?

Thanks,
Paul

Go ahead and use it. I'd suggest adding two times the suggested quantity and running the engine for several minutes, to get the additive into the fuel lines and injectors/carb(s).

I mean, what does it cost? peanuts.

I use stabil and I have the same carjacket, works great.Just make sure you let the car cool off before zipping it up,and put moisture bags in and under car to suck up any moisture that may be in there.I used it many years now without any problems.

I use Sta-Bil a lot. I use more than the suggested amount...4 oz to 5 gallons of fuel. Never had a problem with fuel going bad using it.

After talking to other friends, I am going with this. Does more than Stabil (mainly isopropyl alcohol) as far as protecting the gas and engine surfaces.

I used to put sta bil in until I had issues with my snowblower (used it there as well). Now I use startron in my 5 gallon jugs at home and seafoam instead of sta bil for storage.

I have used sea foam before as a fuel stabilizer. Do any fuel stabilizers really do anything? I can't say for sure. I've stored engines without anything and not had problems, I've stored some with fuel stabilizer and had stuck floats the next year. I think next I want to try the marine sta-bil.

the Ardizam engineer that I worked with with my 2 cycle roto tiller from Hell was a proponent of Startran and I've heard good regarding Seafoam. To me the others (& there is a ton of em) are snake oil
