Old School, how are your's working? Are they staying in gear? mine are doing great! one of them has fell out of 4th gear 3 times. I have about 400 miles on mine. it seemed to only do it when it was cold. I think mine is a shifter adjustment. when in 4th, my shifter is a little more forward than the other one. when I adjust it, I will post back. I'm pretty sure that's what mine is..... with some miles on them, they are very smooth and very quiet. cant wait for a couple more!

Yikes. On my regular 23 spline 4 speed that came with my car it would jump out of gear when slowing down in that certain gear. Is that how it is for you all or is it when you're on the gas or just cruising or? Your transmission is worn out....

Now I replaced it with a hemi 4 speed. I was just asking the people that have these how/when it was popping out of gear.

Is that how it is for you all or is it when you're on the gas or just cruising or? Dart sportsatellite does it happen in a certain gear or? Hopefully it's just fine tuning of the linkage and nothing inside the gearbox. Nope, not fine tuning, falls out of gear while cruising, and mine's not the only one, I'm the only one sharing the info though.

Well I have almost 5000 miles on the transmission, I did have it pop out of 1st gear twice going down a grade, and a few times out of 5th. The 5th gear issue turned out to be a driveshaft issue, pinion angle was off a couple of degrees. The car is heavy, 4100 lbs, 572 hemi, 735 HP, 717 T, 4:30 dana 60, 30" rear tires. I think the transmission is great, just sayin

I would love one of these but deep in the back of my mind I feel if I do get one something will go wrong with it and it will end up as $5000 door stop.....I would feel much safer with the Passon 4 speed over drive and it can be purchased without any waiting period.

Hopefully every 1000 miles. Your a rolling test bed and an extra gauge for me to watch.

I am afraid to drop 5K on a tranny that intermittently drops out of gear...I don't see how pinion angle can cause a gear to just pop out...the physics is not there in my feeble mind...

Wrong pinion angle causes driveshaft vibration, that will cause the trans to fall out of gear on a slight down grade where there is little pressure on the gears. My car is far from a stock deal, a lot higher springs on the rear than stock, hence the pinion angle problem. As I said before I have about 5000 miles on the 855 and it works great. Also I very much doubt you could ever get a better guy than Jamie to work with. Just Sayin, and I had a new 67 GTX when I was 20 years old, so have been around the block a couple of times

But you can't be 100% that is the cause of poping out of gear...

Well it has not came out of 5th since the pinion angle correction, that was at least 3000 miles ago.

Any updates guys more feedback? Ya, there has been no recent posts about receipt of A855s. Has anybody received a tranny in these last months?

Emailed Passon about a month ago inquiring about list/order status. Never heard back from them. I got on the list three (3) years ago at the 2013 Nats. Jamie's dad was a real nice guy to talk to. Still hopin' my spot of 200 on the list isn't too far off.
