On my demon which weighs 3000 with me in it my Hoosier was around 8-9lbs That sounds more like the pressure for a bias ply slick.. a radial will be higher... but like usual the car weight and traction will dictate pressure

I would set them at a minimum of 50 lbs. Especially when you're grudge racing against the '63 330...
'63 Dodge 330 11.19 @ 121 mph Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs. 10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

Generally those Radial slicks need to be in the 18-22lb range from my experience with the MT radial.

I run M/T 14.5 x 33's on a 3500lb Super Stock with a 4-link and the pressure generally runs between 14.5 and 15 lbs to produce the best 60ft times.
If it ain't broke fix it anyway!

I don't use the M/T anymore, using Phoenix radial 13-14 on a usually hotter track here in the south. I had bad radial wobble with the M/T. Actually, that is the tire, I am running. Are you having good luck with it?

I tried the M/T radials in 15x33 when they first cam out, 3000 lb car, going 8.70s. Radial :wobble: was terrible, pressure had to be about 14 psi minimum but very little higher or no traction. Fastest passes the car ever made though, for the fuel and conditions. 60 fts were in the 1.27 range on the best day, biased slicks would go 1.24 but loose ET down track.
8..603 156 mph best, 2905 lbs 549, indy 572-13, alky
