After re-reading the rules about 6 times(in the link)
I never seen "NO TRUCKS".. all I seen on this aspect
of no trucks was what Freiburber said on the post here
(the fist one) but yet it doesnt say that in the rules..
I sure would like to do the Pontiac event

Depends on what state and who drew up the title, some clerks will,change those things at your request, at least around here.

Pretty clear:

A Cash Purse totaling $19,000 will be awarded to the quickest Dodge cars, Dodge body and Dodge-powered cars only. No trucks are allowed.
1st place – $10,000
2nd place – $5,000
3rd place – $2,500
4th place – $1,500

A Cash Purse totaling $750 will be awarded for Non-Dodge cars.
1st place – $500
2nd place – $250

contact them, you have a car with an open trunk on it.
No trucks might mean they do not want the diesel smoke like a black cloud rolling over the event.

SHOW me in the rules where it says no trucks... and

When there paying out 19k and say no trucks, it's pretty clear.
You could always email em'.

I think it's pretty clear on the truck deal. On their web page it states in plain english "no trucks allowed".

Dragstrip Registration Rules & Regulations

All vehicles participating in the drag race must be street legal, with a valid license plate and registration. No paper or dealer license plates.
All vehicles must be insured with proof of insurance matching the vehicle’s VIN number.
All drivers must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
Drivers must provide their own fuel.
NO trailered vehicles—all vehicles must be driven to/into/from the event site.
DOT-approved tires only. NO slicks! Tires cannot protrude outside top of fender.
NO passengers are allowed in the vehicle on the dragstrip.
Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required.
Vehicle inspection to take place upon arrival:
Battery must be secured.
No visible leaks.
Coolant catch can required.
Mufflers required.
Functioning seatbelt required.
No loose items inside vehicle.

I will do that Monte... this thing started life as a 2 door L-body
that was cut up to put a bed on it.. part of the back of this
still has the car section under it... its not like it started
life as a truck

It PLAINLY says "no trucks".............as to whether they will allow the Rampage or not, will boil down to what David thinks it is. HE makes the rules for HIS events, but I am sure the no trucks is from Dodge. That's too bad, because it also eliminates the SRT 10 trucks, but as someone else said, they probably don't want a bunch of hopped up diesel trucks out there. This event is to showcase Dodge and their modern performance cars, but they can't legitimately rule out any CAR that has a Dodge badge

Wasting your time, none of the complainers here are even planning to attend any race, incl drag week.

I am sure some bad azz "all Dodge" cars will show up for that race, won't be from here though.
