Have a 2008 T&C with the V6 and a 2008 Avenger with a 4 cylinder. Fram says CA9054 fits both. Was thinking of going to Wix for air filters at rock auto. I looked up the parts and wix p/n 42389 for the van and 49926 for the car. Why would the wix have two separate p/n's for wix and one for fram? I looked at the dimensions and the wix for the car is not as tall as the one for the van. I had a hard time closing the one air box, but can't remember which one. Maybe I have found the reason, Fram is taller than the wix for the car. Why the one filter for both from Fram?

Fram doesn't care enough to make their filters for the application. Close enough is good for Fram. Extra tall filter may be OK until your air box is all stripped out, or cracked from forcing the wrong filter in. Use the Wix.

The 49926 has complaints on Amazon for being wrong. The 42389 has all positive reviews. Based on that I'd say in typical internet fashion once one gets it wrong it snowballs. 42389 seems like your filter. But I'd do a bit of leg work yourself before pulling the buy trigger
