70CoronetRT OP member 7 Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 35 NY	I have another side scoop in better shape than the existing one, but the car is burnt orange and the scoop is white. Which brand/manufacturer/type/configuration of paint should I use? Lacquer, enamel, base coat clear coat? Thanks

DAYCLONA I Live Here Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 18,157 Mass	A single stage Acrylic Enamel, I'd suggest Dupont Centari Enamel,but regardless of your paint MFG choice you'll need to have it matched/tinted for a spray out to compensate/adjust for age/fade UV degradation, your primer base shade will also be a key factor in matching the color as well

I've matched the original paint on a couple of old Mopars with satisfactory results. Dallas 2012 Rallye Redline Challenger, 1st new car! 2010 Ram 1500 4wd HEMI-hauler 2014 Dodge Dart-gas saver 4 projects and a bunch of parts cars, losing interest since buying the Challenger lol 1969 Dodge Coronet 500-'gonna fix 'er up someday!'
