I believe the aluminum blocks are 4 grand. There is a member on here that has the aluminum block. I talked to him personally about the issues I had with a iron block & the only problem he had with it was the oil drain back which he corrected himself. Everything else was good. Maybe the aluminum block maybe the way to go.

If you are looking for a Ritter block, there is one at FHO, a friend of mine owned it, he died about 2 years ago and I think it is for sale. Give them a call and ask about Blair's block. Or send me Pm and I will try to find out more info for ya.

So what are these machining problems, exactly? That covers a lot of ground. S/F....Ken M

Why would I ask and not want to know? I work in a machine shop. "There's problems" doesn't mean anything without details. S/F....Ken M

Good place to work if you're going to give it a swing Ken. I'd pm Whitedart and maybe see if you can get his phone number.... might be a bit of a long conversation. If you search the site you can find some of his older posts that mention some of the issues he ran into. I also noted in an earlier post that qwkmopardan had said he had gotten a 59 degree Ritter/ebrock deal running. Might be worth asking him. As noted Rickraw had one and got his money back. I also know another gentleman in Michigan that dumped money into one and gave up. I was dangerously close to going the Ritter route in 12, but was "swayed" by a few to go R3 since I work at a dealer.

To be fair, I'm a big block guy, but a friend is doing a killer W8/R3 deal, so I'm curious, plus there's always customers coming in with broken $hit. S/F....Ken M

The block for p7 heads has more/different spaced cam bearing bulkheads.

I have a new aluminum tall deck with p7's going together now.The aluminum block so far seems like the way to go.It all pressure tested great and no major problems at all.I had a aluminum mopar block before this one and had to fix more problems on it.

This is good to know, waiting to see this one make some steam.
