If you have access to a good valve spring pressure gauge use it
I always set all the 16 roller cam springs up so they have bewtween .060 and .080 from coil bind no matter what the pressures are
I have mixed the inner springs to get the pressures really close to each other on the seats also
Your way better of to have 50 lbs to much pressure than 5 lbs to little on todays race roller cams
If the roller leaves the nose of the cam at the upper RPM it will leave tracks on the backside of the lobe, if you see those marks replace the springs and lifters, the lifters, unless thier the bushed non needle bearing roller lifters, will be damaged by slamming back into the lobe after the launching of it off the nose of the cam
