I have a friend doing a numbers restoration on a 68 Charger RT and we need to find someone who does quality grille restorations. The unit is complete with a couple of broken fins.

Rod Glasser does them in Wichita. Plan on a grand if there is anything wrong. Its not cheap but it some of the nicest work I have seen. Tim

A - dont have high expectations. Or
B - Better jump on it.

Ive done maybe a half dozen of them.....and
1300 to 1500 range is not uncommon for a complete grille

mike at B/E &A did the 68 I did about 6 years ago. There was not much there and he made one out of a couple. Still holding up great!

I would guess I had 40 hours into each of my 69's I did.

It's tedious masking and a lot of the old plastic tabs are split and ears break off.

Also expect the body and grill NOT to mate up perfectly. You will assemble it on your table and then be baffled by it sitting twisted or cocked in The car.
I suspect this occurs because the cars are old, have some twist or fender replacement.

I had the us a die grinder on my Hemi car the get the Headlight Cover to drop properly.

Nonetheless,. Very rewarding when Complete
