It was dipped at Technostrip in Brampton www.Technostip.com. I think the going rate is $2200-$2400 canadian. Call to make sure. The company I work for does a ton of bussinss with them so I didn't pay close to that.

I was called when it was pulled from the acid tank and asked them to leave it in the rinse a little extra. And I went over to supervising the two guys that were rinsing it. Telling them how I wanted done. All in all it was hand rinsed for five and a half hours.

Naked indeed, I think we'd all like our projects to start off like that. javascript:void(0)
How soon before it starts to surface rust and what products will you be using to cover her up.
Keep us posted.
Also does anyone know of a stripper like that on the east coast states side??

Once rinsed a rust inhibitor is applied to stop it from flash rusting. I was advised to prime it within a month. But from my own experience I’ve had a pair of stripped fenders sit for 4 years before they started to rust
It should be getting primed with PPG DP90LF epoxy primer this week end. I will post pictures when primed.
