I found this awesome website with gave me all the measurements needed
http://www.doctordiff.com/axle-calculator/And after pulling the 727 out after the sprag let go I pulled the axles and measured everything.
And switching to Dana 60 I should have 1/4 inch spare on the Drivers side (long) and about 1-1/2 on the short.
Think i am lucky these were set up to butt together and cut at these lengths.
I don't have the normal 1-3/16 pinion offset to begin with.
Anyway looks like I'm all good.
