Just curious what everyone is using for a case connector for the transbrake solenoid wire,,,that doesn't leak ... Seems like there would be something simple that resembles a pipe plug with insulated blade terminals at each end but, I don't find one shruggy

I looked around and couldn't find anything, found this site though and roughly followed its instructions to make my own.

Mine held up to mud bogging this year, no water or mud in the transmission.

Turbo Action, ProTrans and others include a case connector with their transbrake kits. Don't know if they sell them separately. I believe it's a Mopar part #4348945. I think I have a few around here somewhere.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

I just use a brass NTP to inverted flair adapter and drill the center hole to snugly fit the #10 wire and then use JB weld to fill in the recess on the inverted flair end making sure I slide the wire in and out to pull a little JB down around the wire and adapter to work any bubbles or divots out then let sit over night, add required terminal ends and you are good as gold,,, never had one leak yet.

Mine looks like that as well on my 727.

I am currently rebuilding a lock up 999 (904) for my work truck. It has terminal that is a pipe thread in the case where my 727 has the trans brake terminal. I am not sure what it does in the 999 LOL, I would guess it is the wire that engages the lock up converter. REGARDLESS what it does in stock form, as soon as I saw it on the 999 I thought "That looks like it would work as a trans brake terminal"

Thanks for the good info guys thumbs I was considering the A&A connector but can't find a single pic of it on the web. I'm sure it's great, just like to see what I'm getting.. Reading dartman366's reply got me thinking about using a compression fitting for 1/8 tubing similar to what comes what comes with cheap oil pressure gauges. Just drill the fitting to 1/8 inch, use size of wire that's just small enough to slip through the ferule and run it through the fitting into the case. Just tighten the compression nut until it clamps the wire snug. Think I might give it a shot.. It works in my head anyway grin

I have what Jay's got, tapped into the rear of the case in both of mine.
