Hello all. I'm looking at the M & H bias ply musclecar tires in 275 60 15 for my 68 coronet.
I'm mounting them on an 8 inch steel wheel.
I want the bias ply look as I only drive a few hundred miles per season.
Just to be clear, these are not their "cheater slick" bias ply.
Anyone use these tires?

M&H makes both "musclecar" bias ply AND a bias ply "cheater slick".
I'm interested in the vintage looking "musclecar" bias ply version.

May as well be a slick. You realize they are DOT-approved, bias-ply, street-legal tires. These M&H Racemaster muscle car drag tires are ideal for any class that uses a street-type race tire. Other features include state-of-the-art wrinkle wall construction on a black nylon bias-ply carcass. Ran these for years, back when Protrac made them http://m.summitracing.com/parts/cok-72146and in the rain the hydroplaned easily. Your choice isn't what I would run on a street car, ever. Get off the mobile version and hit the web version of Summit for the details.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

I have the N50-15's of these and they are a cheater. Enough of a rain groove to be DOT and they wrinkle nice. They seem to wear decent and hook pretty well. Don't know if I would want to get caught in the rain with them.

No rain, no pain. If you want a stock groove, side wall look, I believe Goodyear is now reproducing their famous L-60/G-60 in polyglass form tires. Also as mentioned above, the Pro-Trac tire is a good choice as well.

Thanks for the replies fellas!
I appreciate the input. I'll respond back when I figure this out and put some tires to use.

We ran those same tires on our 70 Road Runner way back in 1973. They hooked very well even with a 4-speed,and we ran them on a 8" wheel.

The same ones you are looking at..the ones with the tread all the way across. Used the same size too, although back then they were listed as a 10.0x28.0. I don't remember if we used tubes,I'm pretty sure we did,my Dad always used them and we screwed the wheels to the tires. All I know is that Road Runner (we still have it) would hook in a car wash with those tires and 3800# S/S springs.
