I run a Lm-1 kit by inovative. Has a screen read out and can down load to a computer if you record a pass. Have used it to get me in the ball park, then use the track to tell me where it needs to be.

I use the old LM-1 also.. but I dont have the rpm/logger so I mount a camera that will see the tach and the LM-1 read out... works fine that way

I use a Daytona Sensors WEGO IV and a GoPro to record everything while making a pass. I can see the AFR, the tach, shift light and when I shift, oil pressure, fuel pressure, water temp, trans temp...And listen to what the motor is doing the whole time. Camera was loose. DOH! https://youtu.be/B2Bcne-I894

I have and reccomend the LM 2. Having the rpm on the graph you can check afr/lambda readings at the top of the gear, the bottom etc. You can also record water temp. Don I like mine, used it the first time this season and told me a lot, only thing is I am going to weld the bung in this winter and put the clamp in the box to use on other peoples cars.
Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

I have my LM-2 with analog cable connected directly to tach output off my MSD box . This is then recorded to SD memory card in LM-2 along with AF readings and saved as a session.
Kevin Nice. How does it know when to start recording? Is there a button you push, or is it just constantly recording? Also, can they be connected to other types of tach signals, like the coil. Would a mopar ECU work?

I bought the Innovate LM1 kit with thier RPM option, the LM1 is no longer for sell or supported I added thier LC1 kit later to mine to make it read and record both sides of the exhaust. I bought if for my pump gas Duster with a 518 C.I. 400 stroker motor with a low deck six pak on it, six paks rock You will need to weld bungs in for the O2 sensors, as far as AFR on pump gas mine ran well with 14.25 to 15.3 AFR at idle and part throttle, I was shooting for 12.5 to 13.5 AFR at WOT, not sure I ever got it that lean with thee sixpak The car did run low tens, 10.28 ET at 127.+ MPH with 14.2 AFR at WOT I swapped the heads and intake and carb. to a set of Indy SR M.W. size heads and intake with a single 4500 1050 CFM Dominator carb. and it was right at 12.5 AFR, that made the car go 9.993 at 134.5 MPH IHTHS
