"ultra seals" get rave reviews on here (I forget the brand). I would drawfile the welded beads some more (get em good and flat) and cut the flat flange so each tube is independent

We run Mr Gasket Ultra seals also.Ive had headers off and on and reused them.My kid did blow one out after about 6 years and after I reused them.Mine have been on at least 6 years.I run TTIS but we ran them with Summits cheap headers and no problems.Rocky

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I used the TTIs for a few years also.Had to replace them when I changed heads.I used coppers and Percys. Both leaked. The coppers do seal good on my collectors. If you can run cheap headers with Ultras and they seal they must be good.Ran like 3 cheap sets and all sealed.Rocky

REMFLEX!
I typically don't have much issue with my Hookers, but the old junk headmans I had on my 383 were a nightmare, UNTIL I found Remflex!

A few sets we used had the thin flanges. Two sets are thick like my TTIs.I did cut my TTIs just for clearance. The cheap ones I didnt bother and they sealed. Some were SB some BB.Rocky

REMFLEX!
I typically don't have much issue with my Hookers, but the old junk headmans I had on my 383 were a nightmare, UNTIL I found Remflex! I have yet to find a set of headers that a set of Remflex gaskets could not seal. I am not kidding. They are the only set of header gaskets that I will purchase. Stan
