I wouldn't just because car manufactures never did. Aluminum works good on race cars that don't get used for long periods of time. But I have a plastic tank and wish I had a steel tank.

Yep, but been used on the roads/street cars in Oz since the 70's when the cars were racing and people started using them as well. When you have a 1000 kilometer road race, the bigger the tank the better. And a lot of people ran them on the street as well after that and currently. (Does make setting up the suspension a little more interesting with the amount of weight as a variable.) Mine is 110 liters by the way...

The good ol' Aussie "drop tank" Must get a few strange looks on the roads over there mate. Nice Torrie! Thanks! And yep, gets lots of looks...even after all the years I have had it here. (Street Machine did a write up on it actually even which was cool I thought)

Don't you have to use a dedicated type of rubber hose for E85? (for the flexible & joiner parts in your fuel lines)
Just use fuel injection rubber fuel lines. These rubber lines are engineered to run all of the common fuels of today at the pump.
