2 750 DP's minimum. I would call BLP, Dale Cubic or Braswell.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

Good luck is all I can say.

If you actually want a combination that runs hard and is easy to work on then sell the cross ram and buy an Indy 400 intake. A brand new 850 DP carb should work just fine on that combo and will be easy to tune.

I have a pair of used Endurashine 500cfm carbs if you are interested in some bling. Your pm box is full, by the way.

Check out the weekend warrior carbs from BLP, billet body carbs. May need to make a few adjustments to use as 2 carbs, but a good choice. A pair of 650's is what I would go with. Let me know if you are interested.

One of the first motors I built for a customer a long time ago was a 383 with the stock early 4 bolt valve cover heads(little valves and all down) and a early production Eddy two piece STR (Street Tunnel Ram maybe)crossram intake manifold, it had either 600 or 650 Holley D.P. on it, CRS shruggy It ran well above 3000 RPM but most of that was due to the cam and a stone stock low stall OEM conveter down I've since owned and race a bunch of BB with M.W. heads and crossrams with dual carbs, all the way from stock to using dual Holley 850 D.P., as already suggested get a set of Holley 650 or 750 D.P. or a set of the Hi Po(non smog carbs) Eddy or Carter type (625 or 750 CFM)carbs will work good also up twocents Mopar BB like a lot of air and fuel is what I have seen in testing and racing work

The cross ram intakes just aren't that good when it is all said an done. If this is just a cruiser and you like the looks of the cross ram then put a pair of Edelbrock 500's on there. At least those carbs will allow you to start the engine without too much drama and you'll get half way decent performance. At the minimum you should install a dual channel wideband. Good luck actually trying to tune that thing though. You'll get lost really quickly if you try to cross jet it or popsicle stick the intake or anything else. There is a reason they don't make those intake manifolds anymore!

While the crossroad looks cool on our '63's I went with a Holly Street Dominator and an 850 Demon. Works great and has better drivability than the 750 3310 Holley.

'63 Dodge 330
11.19 @ 121 mph
Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs.
10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

I agree the crossram looks awesome under the hood of a 62 to 64 Mopar of the Max Wedge era. I did not use one at first because of the exspense and I am very happy with the Indy dual plane and 850 Holley DP I use. As Andy said it is very simple to tune and I like my hotrod easy to work on. If you ever decide against the crossram the Indy dual plane works very nice on my 493 street/strip car and have great driveability at all rpm levels. Good luck with the cool crossram if you do go that way. I can say my brother uses the Mod Man intake on his 64 with a 511 and he uses two Eddy 650's I believe. He has it running very good with the two Eddy's but it is a race car and not street driven. One thing I like about the Eddy and Carter carbs are you can do alot of tunning with the metering rods and you dont spill fuel when jetting them. grin Ron
