This is a 42RE, not an AW4, right?

This is in a 93 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Built 5/93. Apparently the early ones have the AW4 transmission, while the later ones have an RE. The oil pan pictures I found of the AW4 are dramatically different than this, but I'd like an expert opinion before it gets driven a couple hundred miles down to me. Thanks

Rock auto has pics of the pan gasket, but I had to look under Cherokee for the AW4, it's a rectangle. The 42RE is a 904 style pan, rectangle with one corner cut off.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

To complicate things, I need it to be an RE. If it's an RH, it's no good to me. Wikipedia says ( ) that the only RHs in that year came behind a 5.2/v8. Sooo... if it is a 42, I'm assuming it must be an RE.

So my dad just crawled under it, and says he can feel 6 or 7 wires (there might be one more, lol), so it must be an RE.
I'll verify once it gets down here.
Thanks for the input.

Most all 4.0 93.5 Grand Cherokees had 42RE. We only built a small number of AW4 in 93 behind the 4.0 - a very small number and at vehicle launch. Early in the Model Year.
