I see there are reproduction units from Dynacorn that say "70-74 Barracuda" http://restorationpartssource.com/store/hood-latch-1970-74-plymouth-barracuda-dynacorn_moreinfo.html Then there are other listing for that part that say "1970 only"? Is there a difference in the 70, 71, 72, 73 and/or 74 hood latch assembly?

My local Sears hardware has a section with all kinds of stuff like that. Bring the assembly with you and see what works.
