73 Barracuda hood latch assembly

The hood latch assembly on my 73 Barracuda has a broken spring. So I am looking for a replacement. I see there are reproduction units from Dynacorn that say "70-74 Barracuda"

Then there are other listing for that part that say "1970 only"? Is there a difference in the 70, 71, 72, 73 and/or 74 hood latch assembly?

But I can't seem to find just the latch (release) assembly? If you see just the latch release anywhere please let me know! New or used is fine with me......

I'm assuming you're talking about the smaller spring inside the assembly? I guess if it were mine I would see what sears has. My local Sears hardware has a section with all kinds of stuff like that. Bring the assembly with you and see what works.

Yes. I have an ad on here and the Barracuda forum. I also have checked egag.
